We are all aware of the increasing high cost of domestic water. Many systems traditionally using mains water do not actually require water of such a high standard. Rainwater can be utilised for applications including:
• W.C flushing
• Laundries
• Irrigation systems including domestic garden watering
• Vehicle washing
• Sprinkler and other fire fighting systems
• Non potable industrial processes
Typically, approximately 30% of water consumed within a domestic building is used for toilet flushing, it is therefore clear to see how financial savings can be made. The reduced demands on the water supply infrastructure and the reduction of energy consumption to process and sterilise domestic water all have a positive impact on our environment.
Features and benefits of the Purewater system:
Utilizes a “direct feed” system from the Ecopac control unit.
No requirement for a double pipework system for mains & rainwater feeds, the system is always supplied directly from the Ecopac, one piece of equipment, one pipework system only.
Does NOT require a roof space break tank to provide an AB air gap, the AB air gap exists within the Ecopac, this provides water regulations compliant system with the minimum of key components.
Does NOT utilize mains water to keep the underground rainwater tank at operating capacity, again the Ecopac does it all.
